Privacy Policy
This policy covers both the LingoSwipe mobile app (iOS and Android) and the lingoswipe.app website.
What We Collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, passwords, or any personally identifiable information. We do not build advertising profiles.
App — usage analytics The app uses third-party services to understand how it is used (which features are opened, session length, crash reports). This data is anonymous and aggregated.
App — ads The free version of LingoSwipe shows ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
App — purchases Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play and managed by RevenueCat. LingoSwipe never sees your payment details.
Website — analytics The website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited, approximate country, and device type. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept in the cookie banner.
Cookies and Local Storage
Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are set by Google Analytics only with your consent.
Your browser’s localStorage stores your language preferences and cookie consent choice locally. This data never leaves your device.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you are in the EU or California, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of data held about you. Because we collect no personally identifiable information directly, most requests should be directed to the relevant third-party service (Google, RevenueCat). You can also use your device’s privacy controls to limit ad tracking at any time.
Children
LingoSwipe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
